Advertising Guidelines

Applies to: Organizers, Advertisers, Agencies, Partners, Affiliates
Welcome to The Elite Pass Advertising Platform. Whether you're promoting an event, selling tickets, or boosting visibility, all ads must be safe, accurate, respectful, and compliant. Violations may result in ad rejection, account suspension, or permanent ban.
1. General Advertising Principles
- Truthful: No misleading claims
- Respectful: No hate or harassment
- Legal: Compliant with all local, national & international laws
- Safe: Not harmful or dangerous
- Accurate: Clearly represent the event, service, or product advertised
- Relevant: Must match the content of the landing page
- High-quality: No blurry images, low-resolution graphics, or broken links
Organizers and advertisers take full responsibility for the content they promote.
2. Prohibited Content
2.1 Illegal or Harmful Activities
- Drugs or illegal substances
- Unlicensed medical or pharmaceutical products
- Gambling without legal permits
- Weapons, explosives, or ammunition
- Human trafficking or escort services
- Money laundering or financial fraud
- Pyramid schemes or deceptive financial programs
2.2 Hate, Violence, or Discrimination
- Hate speech
- Extremist groups
- Violence or self-harm
- Bullying or harassment
- Discrimination based on race, religion, caste, nationality, gender, orientation, disability, etc.
2.3 Misleading, Deceptive or False Claims
- Fake discounts
- False “sold-out” or “last seats” claims
- Misrepresented line-ups or performers
- Fake testimonials or fabricated reviews
- Misleading refund guarantees
- Claiming “official partner” without proof
- Hiding important terms (extra fees, venue changes, limited access, etc.)
2.4 Adult or Sensitive Content
- Pornographic content
- Obscene imagery
- Explicit nudity
- Sexually suggestive events without legal compliance and platform approval
- Sex toys or adult merchandise
- Sexual services or escorting
2.5 Shocking, Disturbing, or Unsafe Content
- Blood, injury, violence
- Graphic accidents
- Horror that causes distress
- Dangerous stunts presented irresponsibly
- Images intended to scare, shock, or disgust viewers
3. Restricted Content (Requires Approval/Conditions)
3.1 Alcohol-Related Events
- Must include age restrictions (18+/21+ depending on region)
- Must not encourage excessive drinking
- No messaging such as “Get drunk”, “Unlimited shots”, “Drink till you drop”
- No targeting minors
3.2 Wellness, Medical, or Therapy Events
- No exaggerated cure claims
- No misleading medical promises
- No fake scientific endorsements
- Include disclaimers where required
3.3 Financial, Coaching, or Investment Events
- Do NOT promise guaranteed returns
- Avoid phrases like “Get rich fast” or “Become a millionaire instantly”
- Clearly explain terms & risks
- Provide legal compliance documentation where applicable
3.4 Contests, Giveaways, or Lucky Draws
- Must include terms and conditions
- Eligibility criteria
- Disclosure that it is not sponsored by The Elite Pass (if applicable)
4. Event-Specific Advertising Rules
4.1 Accurate Representation
- Event date & location
- Artist lineup
- Inclusions (food, drinks, VIP benefits)
- Ticket limitations (e.g., seating, entry times, passes)
No bait-and-switch promotions.
4.2 Performer, Brand, or Venue Usage
- Do not use celebrity images without permission
- Do not use brand logos without authorization
- Do not imply sponsorship when none exists
- Do not use copyrighted images without a license
Proof of rights may be requested.
4.3 Pricing Transparency
- Do not hide taxes, fees, or surcharges
- Do not use deceptive “Free Event” titles when charges apply
- Do not mislead about tiered ticketing
4.4 Safety & Age Restrictions
- Include entry policy
- Include age restrictions
- Include safety requirements (if applicable)
- “Minors not allowed” when legally required
5. Ad Creatives & Technical Requirements
5.1 Image/Video Standards
- No blurry or pixelated images
- No watermarked media you don’t own
- No excessively text-heavy graphics
- No copyrighted visuals without license
- No misleading edited images
Recommended: high-resolution visuals, real photos from past events, clean typography, and clear branding.
5.2 Landing Page Rules
- Must match the ad’s promise
- Must work properly (no 404 errors)
- Must not include malicious code
- Must use secure HTTPS
- Clearly show important event details and pricing
6. Sponsored Listings & Promoted Events
- Must comply with all guidelines
- Must meet quality criteria
- The Elite Pass reserves discretion to approve or reject ads
Repeated violations may lead to loss of advertising privileges.
7. Targeting Restrictions
- No targeting based on sensitive attributes: religion, health, sexual orientation, race/caste, political beliefs, age under 18
- No retargeting minors for unsafe or adult events
8. Prohibited Use of Data
- No harvesting attendee emails without consent
- No uploading purchased or scraped email lists
- No using attendee data for unrelated promotions
- Must comply with privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
9. Enforcement & Penalties
- Ad rejection
- Limited advertising reach
- Account suspension or permanent ban
- Withholding payouts for fraudulent advertising
- Reporting illegal activity to authorities

11. Updates to Advertising Guidelines
Guidelines may be updated to comply with law, improve user safety, or align with industry standards. Updates take effect immediately upon publication.
